All of our AYSO programs have children grouped into Age specific groupings. Those groupings are shown below but are all based upon the child's age on January 1. This age determination is valid for the Fall and Spring seasons.

5-U ( Five Years Old an younger) Playground soccer
Five years old and younger, but older than four, on January 1. (Four Year Olds). Note you will need to scan the child's birth certificate.
6-U (Five- Six Years Old)
Six years old and younger, but older than Five, on January 1. (Five Year Olds)
8-U (Six- Eight Years Old)
Eight years old and younger, but older than six, on January 1. (Six and Seven Year Olds)
10-U ( Eight-Ten Years Old)
Ten years old and younger, but older than eight, on January 1. (Eight and Nine Year Olds)
12-U (Ten- Twelve Years Old)
Twelve years old and younger, but older than ten, on January 1. (Ten and Eleven Year Olds). Due to the lower numbers in the 12-U and 14-U divisions are more times then any combined to form the 14-U division.
14-U (Twelve- Fourteen Years Old)
Fourteen years old , but older than Twelve, on January 1. (Twelve and Thirteen Year Olds)
Older Children
The Grants AYSO program generally has a few older players that want to play but there are typically not enough to form an entire team. If the interest is there, we will form a 19-U team. In order for us to form the older division we must have 25 precipitants. Generally this division is formed in the spring and is one big team split to play a match. It is also decided by the regional board if a child is moved from a lower division to play with the 19-U division. We take into thought the players abilities and the if they are going to the eighth grade and looking to play high school soccer.
