General Information & Costs:

AYSO Region 800 in Grants observes two seasons: Fall and Spring. Registration is held for each season separately. The Fall season starts just after the start of school and concludes typically around Halloween. The Spring season typically starts around March 1 and concludes around the time school lets out.

Fees change from time to time so don't rely on the below as absolute certainties... but here is what you will be expected to pay for if you register your child for soccer in AYSO Region 800:

Registration Fees

 Season's registration fee is $55. We will many times offer reduced fees for parents of more than one child (First child full price, subsequent child somewhat reduced fees). Reduced fees are not offered every year. Note that a non refundable fee of $20.00 is imposed if you child is unable to play the given season. We are sorry for this, as it is a national fee that is imposed that is non refundable. If you register in the fall season and spring  there is a reduced fee for the spring season. This is due to the $20.00 membership fee that is only paid once a year. 

- Uniforms

Uniforms are mandatory. Uniform packages are available for purchase from Region 800. The fee is $45 with shorts, $35 without shorts. Each uniform includes one white jersey, one red jersey, and socks. We use this same uniform for all age groups so we encourage our members to buy it a little big so that you can get a couple of years use out of one uniform.
This is a once every two to three years purchase. Note that uniform purchases are non refundable. 

- Shingards

Every player is required to have shinguards. You can buy these for generally $8 for PeeWee/Small and $10 for Medium/Large from from Region 800 or any sports store (prices vary).

- Cleats and Ball

An individual soccer ball is not required to play... however is encouraged for individual drills at practice and at home.
Ball sizes are different also: $15.00 (ALL SIZES)

5U, 6U, 8U: size 3

10U : size 4

14U: size 5

Cleats are also not required, but are encouraged.
